Skipton - known as the "Gateway to the Dales," is a historic North Yorkshire market town famous for its well-preserved medieval Skipton Castle, lively four-day-a-week market, and its location on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.
 
Salts Mill - a historic Victorian textile mill in Saltaire, West Yorkshire, built by Sir Titus Salt in 1853, now  featuring art galleries, especially David Hockney.
 
Harrogate - a historic spa town famous for its natural mineral springs, discovered in 1571, which drew wealthy visitors for "cures" and established it as a fashionable destination, earning nicknames like "The English Spa" and "Queen of Watering Places".
 
Ripon - a historic, compact cathedral city in North Yorkshire, England, known for its 7th-century cathedral, traditional market square, the nightly "setting of the watch" ritual by the Hornblower.
